1 out of 5 stars Don't even consider this item, just a piece of junk!!!   January 2, 2009
I got my Beretta Full Metal Spring Operated Airsoft Gun - Black, the day before yesterday, (the delivery took more than it said) but when I saw the gun I thought it would be worth the wait. It looks, weights and feel really close to the real thing (that's why I gave it a star).

I also have a G2 HGA-117 (the Glock 17 replica) which it's fully functional, the safety works, can't get cocked if the magazine it's empty, overall a great first gun, this one does not have anything like that, but the accuracy and speed made up for the lack of the functionality.

For the first day it worked pretty good, great feel, above average accuracy and speed but last night it got jammed with the BB's so I had to open the gun to get them out. I found out that the inside mechanism it's made from cheap plastic and worse it was already broken. FYI it happened when I was still using the BB's that came with the gun (no more than 20 or maybe 30 BB's shot).

If you are thinking of buying this, look elsewhere (just great to have it as decor or in a gun cabinet) but not if you plan on shooting or playing with it.

3 out of 5 stars My first gun   December 4, 2008

Well for my first gun, I wasn't expecting much. I'm a noob at airsoft guns, but I'll tell you what I know. First off, this gun is entirely metal (the magazine included) except for the trigger. The magazine can get frustrating because the spring extends out of the magazine, getting stuck to your clothes often. This gun shoots .12g bbs pretty far, but the problem is that the bbs curve to the left and go way up. I've heard using .2g bbs will be more accurate, and the .12g bbs hurt a lot as it is, so this gun will be handy when airsofting with my friends. My only major complaint about this gun is that it jams, constantly. When cocking the gun, I have to hold it downwards, or else it'll jam at the top. When that happens, DON'T PULL THE TRIGGER, the top of the gun shoots forward and out of place. So just push it back into place afterwards, despite the waste of time. I'm just glad I have this gun, but I'm thinking of getting a metal sig sauer p226 and maybe a GB MP5A5 (if my parents will ever let me). Well that's all I have to say about this gun, can someone help me figure out what's wrong (if anything) with my gun? Thanks for reading this review.
