Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Release just the needed number of ice cubes into the included serving tray with a touch of the flexible release pad on the bottom. Tray acts as a lid to prevent spills while ice is being made and stored; can also be used for serving. Lightweight and incredibly durable.

1 out of 5 stars We had to throw them out.   October 6, 2008
What a terrible product. It's hard for us to imagine what use others could be making of these!

Removing the cubes one-by-one is far too awkward, difficult, and slow. The top is not actually fitted to the base, so the top immediately falls off and slides around in the freezer.

It's sad that petroleum is being wasted to make these.

Our set went to the dump after just a week.

5 out of 5 stars Expensive for a tray but worth it!   August 12, 2008
With the 4 for 3 promo going on, I just bought 3 more. I have 2 now and love them. Ice cubes pop out easily. The lid helps trays stack and I am less apt to spill from the sink to frig. My hands are small so popping out cubes is easier. Little kids could do this also with ease. You can pop out a few cubes and put it back into the freezer. I use mine to hold fresh squeezed lemon and lime juice. I am throwing away ALL of my old trays.

4 out of 5 stars Good for Freezing Breast Milk   August 7, 2008
These work great for freezing breast milk and baby food. It's efficient to have a cover to keep stuff fresh, although I wish it snapped on better. It's nice that the lid works as a tray when popping the cubes out. With my first baby I used standard ice cube trays, with a big freezer bag to keep the stuff fresh, this is much better. Running the bottom under hot water helps pop the cubes out. The trays stack well too.

5 out of 5 stars Working great so far!   July 22, 2008
I am using it to store pesto in the freezer. The cover does not really snap in place, but adequately covers the contents.

3 out of 5 stars Just an ok ice cube maker   July 20, 2008
This is just an ok ice cube maker. It is not worth $10.
It does stack up nicely, and the soft bottom does helps in getting the cube out of the tray. However, the bottom must be a little melted before you can press on it to get the cubes out. So you must either run hot water on it or let it sit on a very shallow pool of water first (I do the latter since I don't want to waste the water). I think it's not a great improvement over the regular ice tray.
It is not water-tight! I take water-tight to mean that after you properly close the lid, you can turn it side ways or up-side down and water would not leak or spill. That is not the case. The lid just go on, it does not snap on, so if you tip it over, water will spill.
